We met in the most unexpected way, at a time when life was already pulling us in different directions. Not long after we found each other, he left for deployment and what started as something new quickly became something worth holding onto. From the very beginning, our story has been built on distance, patience, and timing. Through deployments, countless miles between Virginia and Georgia, and moments of only being able to speak here and there, we never lost sight of one another. No matter how much time passed or how far apart we were, there was always something pulling us back together.
