Fly in to "America's Finest City" (& Riley's hometown!) and enjoy the 2.5 hour drive through inland San Diego to the desert. Approximately 130-160 miles depending on the route taken.

Los Angeles International Airport (LAX)

LAX is a major airport hub that'll likely be the least expensive airport to fly into. Beware that on a traffic-free day (rare) the drive will be about 2 hours over 139 miles. Los Angeles is notorious for horrible traffic so do plan accordingly or consider having a stop along the way to let traffic die down if necessary
