Both the ceremony and reception will be outdoors. August weather in Moorpark is typically a high of mid 80's and a low of mid 60's. It will be warm, so dress appropriately for a summer wedding!
From the 101 Freeway - Take the Fillmore/CA-23 exit off of the 101 . Exit Tierra Rejada Road and turn left. At Sunset Valley Road, turn left. From the 118 Freeway - The 118 Freeway W will turn into the CA-23 S. Exit Tierra Rejada Road and turn right. At Sunset Valley Road, turn left. For both directions: You will pass an equestrian center on the left. The next property is Underwood Family Farms. Turn left into Underwood Family Farms. Once you enter their parking lot, please follow the green and white Walnut Grove signs straight back past Underwood Family Farms' Birthday Area, Pony Paddock, and School Tours signs. Eventually the signs will have you turn right where you will drive between the beautiful grove of walnut trees and agricultural field . Please continue to follow the parking signs to the grass lawn that is adjacent from the stone fireplace.
There is a huge lot for free parking in front of the venue. Just follow the directions noted above.
We recommend that you arrive 15 minutes before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled!
Cocktail, please. But we want you to feel comfortable, so if those shoes are too high or that top button is too tight, let it all hang loose.
We want you to be able to relax and have fun with us! We are going to have an unplugged ceremony so that you can be present in the moment with us. We really want to see your faces, not your devices, so please put your phones and cameras away until after the ceremony. Plus, our photographer is awesome and loves to share! However, we encourage guests to take and post pictures on to their social media channels during any other time, all we ask is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #iloveyoutopittsandpieces so we can keep track of all of your pictures!
While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us!
If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.
