Our story is not one of love at first sight, but rather one of growth. As two headstrong individuals (just ask Emily how the proposal went!), it took us a minute to recognize our soulmate was standing, or rather, dancing, right in front of us. But once we grew into love, that was it. We knew there was not a more perfect pairing in the universe. In 2016, after we'd gone from peers to friends, we went to a concert (bonus points if you can name the artist!) in Hershey. During the long ride home, we talked nonstop. About our desires and fears, what wound us up and pissed us off. We bonded over our love of dance and music, problem-solving, and intellectual conversation. Something unfamiliar was blossoming between us. Something thrilling and terrifying. Something that would last forever. As a rising sophomore in college and senior in high school, we were both busy trying to figure out who we wanted to be in this world. We were in two separate moments in life, but navigating those moments together. A lifelong love was not in either of our carefully laid plans, and yet we found our ideal futures within one another. In the 5 years since, we've traversed so many challenges and experiences, from finishing school to starting our careers, moving into our first home and even getting a cat! And through it all, you've been here, supporting us. We can't wait to celebrate this incredibly special day with you...and to party all night long! All our Love, Emily & Andre
