You’ve shown me things about myself that I’ve never known before. You’ve shown me the type of person that I could be or better yet, the person that I wanted to be. A man who deserved the love of someone as special as you. Growing up, love was something of a mystery to me. I put it on a pedestal and life passed me by. I didn't know what it would feel like but I knew once I had fallen, I trusted myself that I would know what to do.

That moment I locked eyes with you on that beach. I’d be lying if I said that I didn’t know it at the time… because I did… I was staring at my first love. The woman that I would want to give everything to. I’ve grown a bit since then. With your help, I’ve become more self-aware and figured out what should be important in ones life. I’ve realized that no matter who you are… most things don’t matter. Everyone just wants to be loved by somebody… I’m just lucky to be loved by someone like you.

To make you smile and laugh at every chance that I get. To care for you when you’re not feeling your best, to treat you like the strong and smart woman that you are. To tell you how you’re the most beautiful thing in this world to me. To be the first thing I think about each morning and the last thing every night. To create memories with you because your life is so special. Take you on adventures and see the world together. Explore our minds, challenge each other so that we can grow together.
