Please join us in semi-formal/cocktail attire. Typically this calls for cocktail dresses for ladies and a shirt and tie for the men. However, it can be pretty cold during October in Illinois, so please feel free to wear longer dresses, jackets, or sweaters as well!
If the weather allows, the ceremony will be held outside and the cocktail hour and reception will be inside the barn.
Unfortunately, Illinois can never decide whether October is still summer or early winter, so it could legitimately be anywhere between 45 and 75 degrees! Please please please check the weather before packing for the weekend, as the wedding is in a barn out in the middle of the country and partially outdoors!
Yes! Once you arrive, there will be no venue changes throughout the day. Epiphany Farms Estate in Downs, IL. will be where the entire night is held.
Yes! The venue has ample parking as well as handicapped spots to use! However, there will also be a shuttle that will be running from the hotel to the venue for those that do not want to drive.
Yes, there will be a hotel block for the weekend that we do suggest everyone use! It has not yet been figured out, however, so please check back on the website in a couple months to get those details! There will also be a shuttle that will run from the hotel to the venue, as the venue is a little ways out of town and we want everyone to be able to enjoy the night!
Epiphany Farms, which is the wedding venue and caterers, is an amazing local farm to table restaurant and hospitality group - Dinner will be a family style mix of fresh farm vegetables, chicken and pork, as well as some of their other amazing food! Please let us know on your rsvp if you have any dietary restrictions or allergies that need to be noted and they will definitely accommodate for that!
We absolutely love your kids, however the wedding will be an adults-only event to allow for everyone to relax and enjoy the night. We understand this can be difficult, if you have major concerns about this please do not hesitate to reach out to me personally at Iloilo.hannah@gmail.com.
We ask that only those that the invites are addressed to attend the wedding and all wedding events. With that being said, please only bring a date that is not named if your invite is addressed to you and “guest”.
Yes, you can rsvp through the website at any time! There will also be formal invitations coming closer to the wedding date that will have rsvp’s that you can mail in!
Yes! We realize that a majority of guests will be traveling into town for the weekend. Please feel free to join us for a welcome party Friday night if you come into town early. Details for this will be posted sooner to the wedding weekend!
