9/12/22 Proud to say we are high school sweethearts. I was walking down the hallway after lunch one day and he was talking to our track coach outside his classroom door...probably getting in trouble lol. If you knew Kam in school, you know. Anyway, I just thought he looked so handsome that day. We ended up having a class together and I later convinced him to run track with me so we can hangout more... he did even though he despised running and our love grew from there. We even ended up sharing a number when basketball season rolled around...cheesy, I know.
4/28/22 Found out we were expecting a little girl while you were still a junior in high school and I hadn't graduated yet. I was still actively trying to run track and hide it. We were so scared, but we trusted Gods plan. This is ultimately what made us "official" and realize we were stronger together.
5/15/22 We announced 2 days after I graduated lol... this caused a hugeee "uproar" if you will and was also our first post together. "Hard launch" wasn't even fitting. 190 people shared my post anonymously. It was insane!
6/8/22 We found out we miscarried our little girl and we went through a season of grief together. Instead of pushing us apart, it brought us closer and strengthened the foundation of our relationship. It was in that time we truly realized how strong our love was.
2/14/24 On Valentine's Day two years later after walking through loss together, I found out we were expecting again and surprised Kam when he came home from work. That moment marked the beginning of the most beautiful chapter yet... welcoming our rainbow baby girl.
10/12/24 Kam had planned to propose at the lake the day I gave birth to our Laya girl, but she had other plans. Instead of getting down on one knee, we were welcoming the most beautiful baby to the world. Safe to say, life had the best surprise planned for us. It was magical the feeling of thriving in parenthood with a love like ours. God is good and was very present. Our love grew even deeper which was hard to believe.
11/30/24 Not long after welcoming our daughter, Kam finally got the chance to ask the question he had been planning all along, and of course the answer was yes.
9/18/27 From high school sweethearts to building a family together, our story has grown into something more beautiful than we ever imagined. Through it all, we've been blessed with family and friends who have supported us through every chapter. We can't wait to celebrate the start of forever surrounded by all of you.
