Fortunately, we are having an outdoor wedding which tends to be safer for bigger crowds. However, we are still practicing social distancing when it comes to seating arrangements for both the ceremony and reception. We are also supplying hand sanitizer, Lysol wipes and sprays for your safety upon entry and on reception tables. Please feel free to bring a mask and or any extra hand sanitizer for your use. Masks are allowed but not required. With that being said, if you are feeling any symptoms we ask that you make the best choice and not attend to avoid spreading the infection.
The ceremony will begin at 3:00PM. Please expect to arrive before said time for seating arrangements as it is a first come, first serve basis. We ask that you please be prompt but if you are arriving after 3PM you will be guided to an available seat through an alternative path so it is not a disturbance to the scheduled ceremony.
You can find the wedding Venue address on our website and on your invitation. Once you are approximately 10 minutes upon arrival you will begin to see signs guiding you through the trail to make it to the barn. This is a dirt trail so please drive safely and carefully. Once arriving to the barn there will be cones leading you toward the parking.
We are encouraging everyone to dress formal but comfortable. Due to the wedding being an outdoor event we also strongly suggest being prepared for surprise weather.
Unfortunately throughout the ceremony, video and flash photography is strictly prohibited. This is a special event in our lives and we are desiring to spend it with you! There will be plenty of moments to take photos both professionally and on your personal devices during the reception. Feel free to leave your personal items in your vehicles as the parking lot is very close to the venue or if you arrive early, you may leave them at your designated table in the reception area. If you choose to keep your phone on your person we also ask that you silence them to avoid the disturbance.
Both the ceremony and reception is located at an outdoor venue. However, the reception is under a covered lanais. Due to the wedding being in April we are expecting great weather and can expect 70-80 degree weather as it is the final stages of the winter season heading into spring. We are in Florida so dress accordingly as it can get hot and humid. Also, it would be wise to bring an umbrella for unexpected weather.
We are not registered. The greatest gift we can receive is your time and presence. However, you can visit our registry page for more information.
Unfortunately we aren’t able to take specific requests. We have good news though! The catering service is a buffet style serving. We have chosen a menu that provides a main dish but alternative choices for sides and appetizers. Feel free to ask the servers regarding any specific questions on the menu, you can also visit our schedule page to access the menu and food options.
Illy is an aspiring teacher and I’m a kid in a man's body! 😂 we love kids and they are more than welcome. We will have minor games and play areas they may use during the reception, we just ask that you keep an eye on them of course!
Unfortunately, plus ones were only allowed if you RSVP’d on time. We tried to give everyone more than enough time to ensure plus one choices, but we had to close that option after the allotted time window so that we can have a more accurate measure for attendance and food coverage. Please feel free to contact us or check your RSVP to confirm if you did/did not add a plus one option.
Please visit our travel page as it discusses our hotel recommendations. We also have information on reserve blocks and location distances from venue.
Yes, there is a blocked-off section on the barn designated for parking.
