They met on Match.com in 2016, although Walter did not answer Lexi's message right away...guess he was playing hard to get. Once he did, he gave a corny line and they went on their first date to Yard House and then saw Finding Dory. Lexi knew he was a keeper when he said he already saw the movie with his sister and mom! The rest, as they say, is history. They've traveled the world together from the East Coast to the Buckingham Palace. From paint night, to the Jack-O-Latern Blaze, Super Bowl Parties and more their families and lives blended. First settling in Westwood NJ, they now find themselves living in Morristown NJ. The future is still being created! Bring your dancing shoes and get ready to party! We could not be more excited to celebrate the next step in our journey with each of you, who have played (and will continue to play) such an important part in our adventure!

Starting the day, Walt woke Lexi up early with a homemade scavenger hunt around the apartment of her favorite "things". The breakfast clue took them to Angry Orchard where they went on the "Barely Awake" Tour, had some cider and snacks, and got ready for their Treehouse Tour. After hearing the history of the Treehouse, they got some cider and took pictures. When everyone started to clear out, Lexi thought it best to "chug" her cider since they were holding everyone up. Instead Walt just kept telling her it was fine, until she saw what she describes as a "creepy guy" taking pictures of them. Once he tipped his hat, and his Carolina Panthers phone case gave him away, Lexi saw it was her Brother-In-Law Andrew. Before she knew what was happening, Walt was down on one knee asking to spend the rest of his life with her. After some crying and her answer, "Of course, Yes" and they were ENGAGED! They had some cider, took some pictures - and then Walt blindfolded her to head to a "secret" location. Upon pulling off the blindfold Lexi realized she was at her parents house, being surprised by all her family and close friends. After the lovely mini-engagement party they went back to their apartment, which was decorated by Walt's mom Debby and sister Grace. They opened a bottle of wine and celebrated their new future!
