Great spot to see the LA skyline, fun hiking during the day but the best views are after dark
Great neighborhood for ramen and sushi (Tsujita, Killer Noodle, Marugame Udon, Hide Sushi are our favorites)
Good shopping and food. A little less touristy than 3rd Street Promenade. Grab coffee and breakfast at Primo Passo, Caffe Luxxe, or Bardonna. Father's Office is a great spot for a burger and a beer. Forma has a great cheese list.
We've actually never done this, but we hear it's cool!
Brentwood's not the most exciting neighborhood but it's where we live. Sor Tino is our favorite spot for pizza! Elsewhere along San Vicente: numerous juiceries like Juice Crafters, Kreation, and Joe and the Juice, Alfred's for coffee, Coral Tree Cafe for breakfast/brunch, and Tavern for happy hour. If you're there on Sunday, Gretna Green Way turns into a farmers market between San Vicente and Montana. (Lastly, we hate to recommend a grocery store, but Ilene always sees someone famous in the Whole Foods.)
Hike out to Eagle Rock! It has great views of the ocean and you can get lunch in Topanga afterwards or drive down the canyon to the beach and find a food truck or Thai food on the PCH by the beach
