This is an adults-only wedding, unless your invitation specifies otherwise. We kindly ask that you leave the little ones at home, but we'd love to see the latest adorable pictures of them!
Aim to arrive at least 15-30 minutes before the ceremony starts to find your seat and settle in.
We kindly ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony. After the ceremony, feel free to take photos during the reception!
The ceremony will follow the structure of a traditional Catholic Mass. 1. Processional: The bridal party, including the bride and groom, will walk down the aisle. 2. Liturgy of the Word: Readings from the Bible, including a Gospel reading, will be shared, often followed by a homily (sermon) from the priest. 3. Exchange of Vows: The couple will make their vows to each other, expressing their commitment. 4. Rings Exchange: The couple will exchange wedding rings as a symbol of their love and fidelity. 5. Nuptial Blessing: The priest will bless the couple, invoking God’s grace on their marriage. 6. Unity Candle or Veil and Cord Ceremony: Many Filipino weddings include a Unity Candle, symbolizing the couple’s shared life. Alternatively, the Veil and Cord ceremony involves placing a veil over the couple and tying them together with a cord, symbolizing their unity. 7. Liturgy of the Eucharist: There will be a celebration of the Eucharist, where the couple may also participate. 8. Recessional: The couple will exit the church, followed by the bridal party. Feel free to reach out to the couple or the officiant if you have specific questions or need clarification about the ceremony!
