We're getting married!

Like most modern love stories, it all began on Tinder. While swiping, Ileana caught the attention of 6'5 Trey when he read "Probs taller than you, I'm 6'2" in her bio. "Finally,!" He thought, "one my size!" He decided to use his one superlike on her, and the rest was history! Trey's smile immediately caught Ileana's attention; however, him mentioning he was looking for a mother for his cat definitely sealed the deal. On August 31st, 2021, they decided to meet at the on-campus Starbucks for a cup of coffee. They spent the date talking about the weirdest things and awkwardly flirting and joking. No coffee was drank that day, but a strong bond was formed. Ileana and Trey were inseparable. They would see each other everyday, eat lunch together everyday, and even walk each other to classes. Quickly they became best friends. After 3 months , and with some incentive (She gave me an ultimatum!), they became more than best friends. They went to the movies together. Danced in disgusting basements at house parties together. Went to their favorite restaurant, Tres Amigos, together. Together they grew and quickly fell in love. Trey and Ileana are truly special. Though they come from different backgrounds and walks of life, they are living proof that opposites attract. Ileana is a city girl through and through. Having been born and raised in New York City, adjusting to life in rural Pennsylvania was hard on her. Trey was the opposite. Having been a local to the area, he marveled at Ileana's inability to comprehend how nothing in Indiana, PA was of walking distance! (Seriously, Nothing!). Some might think that their differences would be a burden, but Ileana and Trey have been learning from each other and are blessed to view the world in a special way. Their differences have taught them patience, kindness, and has expanded their own views. 9 Months into their relationship, Trey decided he wanted to pledge his heart to Ileana forever (Hey, when you know, you KNOW); so he got down on one knee in front of both of their families and asked her to marry him. Pledging her heart right back, she said "Oh, God...Yes!.. Wait...Yes!" Two years later, Ileana and Trey both work and live in State College, PA. They got their first apartment together and have three beautiful goldfish they call their own. They are both working on graduate degrees and finding their way through the adult world, hand in hand. Now, Trey and Ileana are excited to invite you all to join them as they begin their little piece of forever. On August 23rd, 2024, nearly three years to the day that they first met, Trey and Ileana are becoming one. We're getting married!!! And we can't wait for all of you to help us write this chapter of our story.
