We’re getting married!

Neto and Ilea met by chance at a Super Bowl party in 2017. Although their team did not win, they noticed a strong connection with each other. Three months later, they officially started dated.

Their relationship started and escalated quickly. Early on, they knew that they were right for each other and wanted the same things. That being said, they quickly fell in love and merged their lives together. During their two years together, they purchased a house, adopted a dog, and traveled around the world.

It all started with an international trip. Neto was already waiting in Spain for Ilea, planning the engagement while starting his MBA program. Ilea arrived in Madrid on May 9, 2019. Later in the evening, Neto took Ilea to one of the places they had visited on their first trip together as a couple, Retiro Park. During their walk in the park, Neto explained to Ilea how he saw his life with her, and asked if she thought the same. He got on one knee, and she answered yes.
