Travel Note
We don't own a car in NYC, and we've made sure every wedding event should be either: a short walk, Uber/Lyft ride, or a few subway stops from the Brooklyn hotels we're recommending. If you have questions, let us know! If you're staying in other parts of NYC or the metro region, we recommend taking a train or bus and then carsharing to the venue from the closest stop. Street parking is limited by the wedding venue but there are parking garages in the area.
Flight
We recommend checking Google Maps for routing. From JFK, the best options we've found for getting to this area of Brooklyn (Prospect Heights, Brooklyn Heights, Cobble Hill) are, in order: 1. Airtrain to Jamaica station -> Long Island Railroad to Atlantic Terminal -> short carshare ride or 20 min walk to the hotels and/or wedding venue 2. Airtrain to Howard Beach station -> A train (subway) to this area -> short (5-10 min) walk at the end depending on your hotel 3. Uber/Lyft as a last resort, mainly because you have to take the Airtrain to the carshare pickup point (not curbside), and it's typically expensive. But please choose the option that is best for you! For LaGuardia, the best option is a short Uber/Lyft ride.
Travel Note
Below, we've recommended a few Brooklyn hotels near the wedding weekend venues, but there are many hotels in Lower Manhattan that are a quick car or subway ride away (10-15 min). Booking.com options in the FiDi/Wall Street area here: https://bit.ly/4bLkrMr
