FAQs

If you have any additional questions that aren't addressed here, please reach out to Nick or Ilana!
Question

When is the deadline to RSVP?

Answer

The deadline to RSVP is July 15. Please let us know if you plan to attend by this date so we may give the final head count to our vendors.

Question

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

Dobbin St is located in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. To get to the venue, we recommend taking a car service such as Uber, Lyft or a Taxi. If you prefer to take public transit, it is about a 10 minute walk from the L train Bedford stop, or a 3 minute walk from the G train Nassau stop. There are also many beautiful hotels within walking distance of the venue if you choose to stay nearby.

Question

Is there parking?

Answer

Parking is allowed at Dobbin St as well as the surrounding streets on weekends and evenings. While there is no dedicated parking at Dobbin St, the nearest secure parking is just three blocks away at 111 North 12th.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

There is no hotel block reserved, however we’ve provided a list of recommended hotels in the “travel” tab. Feel free to choose one of our suggestions, or go with your preferred hotel. Ilana and Nick will not be staying in a hotel the weekend of the wedding.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, the dress code is cocktail attire. For women, think chic midi dresses or stylish jumpsuits. For men, a suit or dress pants with a blazer and a button-up shirt works great – ties optional. Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outdoors on Dobbin St’s beautiful roof deck. Afterwards we will move inside for dinner and dancing. In the event that it rains, the ceremony and cocktail hour will be moved indoors. Please note that the roof deck is up one flight of stairs.

Question

Can I bring my kid(s)?

Answer

We love your children, but kindly note this will be an adults-only event.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to space limitations, we are only able to accommodate guests who are named on the invitation. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to celebrating with you!
