What time is the wedding?

Answer

The Wedding Ceremony will begin promptly at 6:00 PM. There is a Welcome Cocktail Hour with drinks, snacks, and games from 5:00 until seated for ceremony.

Are children welcome at the wedding?

Answer

Only siblings and children directly involved in the wedding will be present. Thank you for understanding!

Explain the dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal. We encourage guests to wear spring colors to match the season's vibe. Please avoid wearing white, as it’s reserved for the bride. We look forward to seeing you for our garden-party inspired wedding! For Men: Suits, Dress Shirts, Blazers, Jeans, Khakis, and optional tie/bowties are acceptable. No shorts or sandals please. For Women: Gowns, long dresses, cocktail dresses, jumpsuits, dress pants, heels, wedges, flats, and sandals are all acceptable. Please no shorts or sneakers. Please note there will be grass and gravel on the grounds of the venue when factoring in shoes.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our wedding will be held outdoors on a beautiful hilltop with a pleasant breeze. The reception will be in a shaded tent to ensure comfort throughout the celebration.

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

Unless your formal invitation specifies a plus one, additional guests will not be accommodated. When you RSVP any guest considered in your party will have their name listed with yours.

Answer

Wedding updates will be posted on our website. All relevant information will be provided with Formal Invitations!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is parking at the venue. The address for the Venue is 1720 KY HWY 2141 Stanford, KY. As you enter the grounds there will be guides to lead you into the parking area.

Is it too late to RSVP?

Answer

We apologize but unfortunately the timeline is closed to attend our wedding. RSVP's were due on April 1st as stated on invitations, reminders, and our website. We will be unable to make accommodations past April 1st.

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

Answer

We kindly ask that you keep our CEREMONY "unplugged" and refrain from taking any photos or videos. We want our guests to truly be in the moment with us during this special moment. Before and following our ceremony please snap all the photos you wish - just allow us the peace and curtesy of an unplugged ceremony.

Absolutely! We are thrilled to have you apart of our day and would love to look back at the behind the scenes. Please use the hashtag #SoontobeSloan in your post so we can view each and every post!

Is there anything I should bring as a guest?

Answer

We do suggest that guests bring a pair of sunglasses so they can comfortably view the proceedings, as well as some cash on hand.
