From the time they met during the summer of 2014, Kristian and Noelle have been inseparable. Their first date consisted of a sunset dinner on the bank of Lake Lanier and bass fishing on the 11th green at Royal Lakes. And no, that was not a typo. He actually brought Noelle fishing on their first date. A lot has happened since that night. Kristian graduated from the University of Georgia, started his career, and co-founded an investment advisory practice. Noelle taught pre-school, dedicated her studies to early childhood education, and will be graduating from the University of North Georgia May 2019. Since the very beginning, their plan has always been to wait until both have finished their undergrad before they marry. Instead of rushing into marriage, the two have focused on building their relationship, and their lives, from the ground up.

Kristian planned a surprise proposal at New Smyrna Beach. Upon arriving at the condo, he told Noelle to get ready so they could go take pictures in front of the water on the beach. Noelle thought this was out of character for Kristian but didn't dare say anything to ruin a good photo opportunity. Before walking down to the beach, Kristian said, "Let's go take the pictures and then go out to eat". As Kristian set up the trip-pod, Noelle ran in front of the camera asking him if her position was in good view for the camera. He said it was perfect and jogged over to her side. He let her think that they were just taking a few pictures before wiping away tears and slowly bending to his knee, "Well Nelly, will you marry me?" Kristian sobbed. Noelle was shocked breathing out the words, "Yes Kristian". It wasn't until later, when Noelle realized why Kristian had said, "Let's go take the pictures and then go out to eat". They were about to be celebrating!
