Horseshoe Bay Resort
The resort has lots of fun things to do. Pools, lake activities, tennis, pickleball, bars, restaurants, and golf are all available options! If the weather is nice, you will probably find Natalie and Ike hanging out by the pool or paddleboarding!
Horseshoe Bay Resort Golfing
Horseshoe Bay is known for its fantastic golf courses, and we have a wedding group discount (details TBD)! Even though Natalie and Ike prefer the mini-version, we know that a lot of our guests love great rounds of golf. Horseshoe Bay Resort Whitewater Putting Course
Since Ike and Natalie both love mini-golf, this golf course is more their speed! Although, to be honest, the last time we played this 18-hole par 72 course, we ended up calling it early. So make sure to plan enough time to play this course!
Blue Bonnet Cafe
This cafe is a great diner close to the resort that has fabulous pies. Seriously, get the pie! Ike's favorite is Banana Cream, and Natalie's is Lemon Meringue.
Fredericksburg
One of Natalie's favorite small towns in Texas, Fredericksburg is about an hour drive away. Visit some wineries, grab some German food, and make sure to go to her favorite candle maker - Circle E Candles.
Torchy's Tacos
A great taco chain that started in Austin. There are lots of locations. Get the queso!! Great queso is the food that Natalie misses the most in Chicago, and this one comes highly recommended.
Pappasito's Cantina
Fajitas in Texas are simply built different, and Ike's favorites are from Papasito’s. Be sure to get the garlic butter that comes with them for a real treat.
