This unconventional love story began on the dating app., "Hinge". Both Jasmine and Ian showed interest in one another by "swiping right". Within a week, Ian took Jasmine on their first date to eat dinner and enjoy a concert in the artsy NODA district. Jasmine and Ian's relationship flourished quickly as they bonded over food, music, art, and traveling. Within months of dating, Jasmine and Ian realized that even though they had different interests, they enjoyed trying new hobbies together and enjoyed learning from each other's experiences and points of view. Ian-a well-traveled artist. And Jasmine-an introverted educator, embraced their differences and decided to build together. Most people say that you don't know someone until you've traveled with them. Jasmine and Ian decided to test out this rather old saying and booked plane tickets to a few of their favorite places. Jasmine shared her love of Disney World with Ian as they spent a Christmas in Florida at the Happiest Place on Earth and Ian shared his love of international traveling by taking Jasmine to visit his family in Italy. Both trips were opportunities for the couple to grow closer together and explore their love for one another. During a second trip to Italy, Ian popped the question shortly after New Years and now the two are excited to enter into the next chapter of their lives together.
