Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo
Zay attended his first rodeo with Irv in 2022. The rodeo is a great spot for food, carnival rides, a petting zoo and nightly concert. This is an annual event similar to a state fair, but bigger! The Houston Rodeo runs from Feb 28-March 19.
Kemah Boardwalk
Kemah is a great relaxing spot next to the water with restaurants, carnival rides, and a rollercoaster. This is where Irv & Zay took their first rollercoaster ride together.
Gerald D. Hines Waterwall Park
Houston’s most photographed site, this dramatic 64-foot U-shaped fountain has water rushing down its inside and outside walls. This is where Irv too Zay on their first date.
The Galleria
The Galleria is the largest mall in Texas and has an indoor ice skating rink along with several restaurants.
Bayou Wildlife Zoo
Bayou Wildlife Zoo is an immersive tram ride where you get to interact, pet and feed wild animals in an open range zoo. This is a favorite spot or Irv & Zay.
Houston Graffiti Building
The Graffiti Building is located near downtown Houston and is just a couple of blocks away from Irv & Zay's restaurant Gotti's. This building features rotating artwork done unofficially by local artists. Fun Fact, the artist Gonzo that created the murals inside of Gotti's also did the largest piece of art at the Graffiti Building. Gonzo is most know for his infamous "Houston Inspired" artwork seen at the Bush airport and around town.
Buffalo Bayou Park
A recreational park with bike trails and beautiful green spaces along Buffalo Bayou, right outside of downtown Houston. One of Irv's favorite things to do is biking with his bae.
Battlefield Houston
Our favorite laser tag spot and a fun event for families! Located in Northwest Houston.
Cypress Trails Ranch LLC
Cypress Trails offers horse trail rides for beginners. They guide you thru forest trails on gentle horses.
Gotti's
Of course you cannot come to wedding without first visiting Irv & Zay's restaurant, Gotti's!
