Can I bring a guest?

Answer

We would absolutely love to celebrate with everyone, but it was incredibly difficult to find a venue that could accommodate a large group. Due to strict capacity limitations, we’re only able to invite those specifically listed on the invitation. If your guest’s name isn’t included, unfortunately they won’t be able to attend the wedding itself. That said, we’re so excited to spend time with everyone throughout the week! Please feel free to bring your guest for the rest of the vacation — we’d love to hang out and make more memories together outside of the wedding day.

Can I bring my children?

Answer

While our wedding ceremony and reception will be adults only, we chose Dreams/Secrets Bahia Mita Resort specifically because it offers both family-friendly and adults-only accommodations. We wanted our guests to have the option to turn this trip into a family vacation if they choose! Children are more than welcome to join in on all the non-wedding activities throughout the weekend. For the ceremony and reception, we kindly ask that arrangements be made for childcare during those events. The resort offers babysitting services, and we’re happy to help coordinate options if needed. We’re so excited to celebrate with you and appreciate your understanding as we create a joyful and relaxed atmosphere for everyone!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

While we’ll be celebrating near the beach, our wedding events will not take place on the sand. We kindly ask that guests dress in formal attire for the ceremony and reception. Think elevated evening wear—suits and ties, cocktail or floor-length dresses, and dressy accessories. Leave the flip-flops and beachwear for poolside lounging! We can’t wait to see you looking your best as we celebrate this special day together.

Are there any colors guest should avoid wearing?

We kindly ask that you avoid colors traditionally reserved for the bride- white, ivories and creams.
