When should I RSVP by?

What time should I arrive on wedding day?

Answer

Guests may begin arriving at 4 PM. The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 PM. Please plan to arrive 20–30 minutes early.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Attendance is limited to the guests named on your invitation. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate additional guests beyond those included in your RSVP.

Are kids welcome?

We hope you’ll take this as an opportunity for a well-deserved night out! Our wedding will be an adults-only event.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Semi-Formal: Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outdoors (weather permitting), with the reception indoors. November in Virginia can be chilly, so we recommend bringing a coat or wrap just in case. Portions of the venue include grass and gravel. We recommend block heels, wedges, or dress shoes you’re comfortable walking in.

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Yes! Shuttle buses will transport guests to the venue from The Omni, The Draftsman, Courtyard Marriott Downtown, and Residence Inn prior to the ceremony. Exact departure times will be posted closer to the wedding date. We kindly ask that guests arrive in the lobby a few minutes early. At the end of the evening, buses will depart by 10:45 p.m., for the following hotels: Omni, Draftsman, Courtyard Marriott Downtown, Residence Inn

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Parking at the venue is very limited and reserved for vehicles with pre-approved accommodations only. All other guests are required to use the shuttle service provided from the designated hotels. Shuttle transportation is available to all guests, regardless of where you are staying. Please note that the venue is unable to accommodate Uber, Lyft, or private drop-offs.

Yes! We’ve reserved room blocks at several hotels. You can find booking information under the “Accommodations” tab of this website.

What airport should I fly into?

Answer

The closest airport is Charlottesville–Albemarle Airport (CHO). Richmond (RIC) and Washington Dulles (IAD) are additional options about 1–2.5 hours away.
