What is the wedding dress code?

Answer

The dress code is formal for the wedding. Preferably suits and tuxes or tea length to ankle/floor length dresses or fancier jumpsuits. In case it's helpful, there's an inspo picture above! But of course, feel free to wear what suits you best.

Are children invited?

Due to space constraints, we can only accommodate named guests on the invitation. We appreciate your understanding.

How do I get to Buena Vista?

Answer

Buena Vista is located southwest of Denver. A little over a 2 hour drive from Downtown Denver. For those flying, the closest airport is Gunnison-Crested Butte Airport (1 hour 30 minute drive to Buena Vista). Aspen/Pitkin County Airport is located 1 hour 40 minute drive to Buena Vista. Colorado Springs Airport is located a 2 hour drive from Buena Vista. Denver International Airport is 2 hour 40 minute drive.

How do I get around town?

Answer

Buena Vista does not currently have Ubers available. The hotel is within walking distance (about half mile) of the main downtown strip but we do recommend everyone have a car/rental car to navigate around. All wedding events are located a short distance from the Surf Hotel.

Will the wedding be outside?

Answer

Weather permitting, the ceremony will be outside in the Chateau Courtyard. Cocktail hour will also be outside as well as inside. The reception will take place primarily indoors, at the Ivy Ballroom and Courtyard.
