Katie and Matthew met through a mutual friend during their time in college. Although, the first time he laid eyes on the woman of his dreams it was far from your typical love story. That’s because one night, he and his close friend Byron were dealing with the aftermath of a hard day at work in the most effective way two college students would know how – by drinking copious amounts of Jack. And as you would have it, Katie had coincidently stopped by to say hello to Byron, which by the shear will of fate would be her first introduction to the man of her dreams. Enamored by his coy, rosie-cheeked smile, Katie would soon learn that this was only the beginning of their story, together. The two lovebirds were quick to realize that they not only shared the same major, but that they had virtually every class together. Just days after their first encounter, Matthew seized the opportunity to sit next to Katie in one of their lecture hall classes, even after several of his classmates ushered him to sit next to them. Bonding over common interests and doodling on each other’s notes, they became quite close and as the year went on - their friendship would grow and grow until it was undeniably love.
