The dress code for our wedding is Black Tie Preferred. Men are encouraged to wear a tuxedo or dark-colored suit. For ladies, a long formal dress, gown, or jumpsuit is preferred, or a fancy, midi cocktail dress. All colors welcome! We are so excited for our guests to dress up with us!
The church does not have a parking lot. However, there will be a shuttle running from the Double Tree Hotel to the church and back. This shuttle is open to both hotel and non-hotel guests. If you prefer the scenic route, the church is a short walk from the hotel blocks & reception!
Times will be given as we get closer to the date. Transportation will be provided from the DoubleTree hotel to the ceremony at the church. Guests staying at the Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites, along with any non-hotel guests, should walk to the DoubleTree for pickup, as all shuttles depart from there. After the ceremony, the shuttle will return everyone to the DoubleTree. From there, guests can easily walk to and from the reception at the Arts Ballroom.
The reception held at The Arts Ballroom does not have parking. There is parking garage directly across the street you can self-park with using the iParkit app, either in advance or upon arrival. Look for the Juniper & Locust Garage at 1327 Locust Street for about $30/night.
Yes! There are rooms reserved at two hotels. Please see the "Travel" page for more details on how to book our discounted room rate. If the hotel block is not available when you go to book, please let us know so we can try to add more rooms for you at the discounted rate!
Our church ceremony will begin promptly at 3:00 PM, followed by the reception starting at 5:30 PM. We recommend checking in to the hotel or grabbing a quick drink at some of the local spots nearby. We suggest Paulie Gees, Bud & Marilyn's, Loch Bar, or El Vez!
