Randi first met Igor in the winter of 2017, just days before both of their birthdays (Igor's birthday is February 15th, Randi's is the 16th). Igor and Randi connected on Bumble (Randi made the first move). Their first date was one for the books! They went to Yama for their favorite meal - sushi, played some ping-pong at Treadwell Park, and caught a midnight comedy show at Dangerfield's. Igor ended the night by pulling a rose from his pocket, and asking Randi, "Will you accept this rose?" (because they both share a love of ABC's The Bachelor!) How can you possibly top that? Well...for their second date, Randi won lottery tickets to see Hamilton on Broadway, and Randi invited Igor to celebrate both of their birthdays! Randi and Igor got engaged almost exactly two years later, on February 8th, 2019! Igor and Randi went to the top of the Freedom Tower, to the One World Observatory Deck, followed by dinner and Whispering Angel at The National. Later that night, Igor surprised Randi with a beautiful hotel suite at The Benjamin in Midtown East. Surrounded by rose petals, and with a bucket of champagne, Igor asked Randi to follow him onto the balcony, where he got down on one knee, and asked her to marry him. Through her happy tears, Randi said yes!
