VISITING CHICAGO
Accommodations: We will not be blocking rooms at a hotel as we want our guests to stay in whichever Chicago neighborhood they'd like. While we love Air BnBs & VRBO's, here are some of our favorite hotels in our favorite neighborhoods:
- The Hoxton in West Loop
- The Thompson in Gold Coast
- The London House on the River
- The Eurostar in River North
Please note that Sunday October 9th is the Chicago marathon. Book your hotels early!
Fun things we like to do in the city:
- Take a Chicago Architecture Boat Ride & look for our apartment just past the Grand Ave Bridge
- Go to a Cubs game & see the newly improved and slightly cleaner Wrigleyville
- Walk the Riverwalk, there's plenty of bars & restaurants, our favorite is the Riverwalk Wine Garden by City Winery...and don't forget about the lakefront!
- Visit our favorite pizza joint, Victory Italian in River North; sausage, garlic, well done (thank us later!)
