What is the date and time of the wedding?

Our wedding will take place on Saturday, May 16, 2026. Please arrive by 6:00 PM to find a seat and enjoy a welcome drink. The ceremony will begin promptly at 6:30 PM.

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

Both our ceremony and reception will be held at Blockhouse, located at 1988 NW 18th Ave, Portland, OR 97209.

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is Cocktail attire. The venue is covered and can be heated if needed. However, Portland weather in May can be unpredictable, so we recommend bringing a light jacket or a layer to ensure you're comfortable throughout the evening.

What is the best airport to fly into?

Answer

For those traveling, the most convenient airport is Portland International Airport (PDX). It's about a 20-25 minute drive to the Pearl District and NW Portland, where the venue and recommended hotels are located.

Have you reserved a block of hotel rooms?

Answer

We have not reserved a formal hotel block, allowing our guests to choose the accommodation that best suits them. Absolutely! Portland has a wide variety of excellent vacation rentals. We recommend searching on Airbnb or Vrbo for homes or apartments in the Pearl District, Slabtown, or the Alphabet District (NW Portland) for the easiest access to our venue.

How should I get to the venue?

Answer

Our venue is easily walkable from the recommended hotels. For those staying further away, ride-sharing services like Uber and Lyft are readily available in the area and offer a very short ride. For guests who choose to drive, please plan for free street parking nearby.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our venue is a unique, covered, open-air space. This gives us the best of both worlds—protection from the elements while feeling fresh and airy. We will have heaters ready to go if needed.

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

Due to venue capacity, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally named on your wedding invitation. Thank you for your understanding!

Are children welcome?

Our wedding will be an adults-only celebration, with the exception of our immediate family. We thank you for respecting our wishes and hope you can still join us for our special day.
