Adam and Bre first met at a party just before the world shut down during COVID. At the time, it was a quick introduction, and they had no idea that moment would eventually lead to something much bigger. When things slowly began reopening and Bre returned to work, she was dancing in shows again. Because of the COVID restrictions at the time, she wasn’t able to dance on the street yet, so she spent a lot of time sitting on the floats while performing. From up there, she would often see Adam walking into work each day. Bre remembers noticing how cute he was and she definitely noticed his biceps. Not long after, Adam came to watch one of the shows Bre was dancing in with some mutual friends. They still hadn’t really talked much yet, but their paths kept crossing. Later on, Bre decided to send him a message to wish him a happy birthday. That simple message turned into them texting more, until one day he sent her a message that said: "Hey sorry if this is kind of out of left field, but would you be at all interested in grabbing a drink sometime?" Of course, she said yes. After their first date, Bre sent a video to her mom and sister saying how excited she was and that something about this felt different. She had a feeling she couldn’t quite explain, but deep down she already knew there was something special about him. Looking back, it feels like their lives were quietly overlapping long before they officially met. Adam had actually noticed Bre a few years earlier dancing in the Christmas Parade, and they later realized they had been in the same circles for quite some time, even performing in the same Mardi Gras parade unit at Universal Studios. However, they were on opposite days and never worked a day together. It’s funny how their paths kept almost crossing, missing each other by just a moment, until the timing was finally right. One of their favorite full circle moments came years into their relationship, when an old St. Patrick’s Day video resurfaced. In it, Adam is standing right across from Bre, and at the time, they were complete strangers. What felt like a coincidence was really perfect timing and it became the start of their next chapter together.
