Our story began on November 14, 2020, at a church young adults Friendsgiving. Hannah’s cousin invited her along, and at the tail end of a very strange Covid season, they crossed paths for the first time, without knowing that one night would become the beginning of everything God was writing for them. Not long after that night, Iggie sent Hannah a direct message, and the rest was history. They talked every single day, growing closer with each conversation. Their first date was simple and perfect—Chick-fil-A at Vista View Park during sunset hour, sharing laughs, deep talks, and realizing how easy and natural it felt to be together. For the next two weeks, they were inseparable, cherishing every moment before Iggie had to return to Jacksonville for baseball. Before he left, on January 2, 2021, he asked Hannah to be his girlfriend. Since then, their relationship has been rooted in faith, strengthened by prayer, and filled with so much love and joy. They’ve been inseparable ever since, grateful for God’s faithfulness, and can’t wait to step into this next chapter together—hand in hand, with Jesus at the center of it all.
