Is there a dress code?

Come dressed to turn heads — it’s an African celebration, after all! Our wedding is Black Tie Optional or Formal. We know you will all show up looking your best and fabulous!l

When should I RSVP by?

Are kids welcome?

Answer

To allow all wedding guests, including parents, a night of relaxation and uninhibited revelry, we respectfully ask that no children attend the reception.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the ceremony start time to find parking and your seat. Once the ceremony begins, no entrance will be granted.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to the size of our guest list, we cannot accommodate extra people at the wedding. We only have spaces for the guests listed on your invitation.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! There is ample street parking and also a garage at the Hotel Covington.

Question

Where is the reception taking place?

Answer

The reception and cocktail hour take place at The Madison Event Center in Covington, KY. 700 Madison Ave, Covington, KY 41011 in the Grande Room.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

For out of town guests or those who want to stay at the hotel, we have reserved a room block at the Hotel Covington (link to room block in hotel accommodations link on website). Shuttle service will not be provided from hotel to venue since they are the same place. There are also several amazing AirBnb accommodations in Cincinnati and NKY to select.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! The drinks are on us and the hangover is on you! Please arrange transportation from the venue if you plan on drinking. We want all our loved ones to make it home safe!

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! There will be a section when you RSVP to notify us of any allergy.
