From the day Michael and Kristen met, Nick was convinced they were going to get married. He told both of them very early on that one day he will be at their wedding. He's been a great friend to Kristen since they met, and he's been Michael's best friend since childhood. They couldn't think of anyone better to marry them on their special day.

Since childhood, Genny has been one of Kristen's very best friends. They grew up together living only 2 houses and an alleyway apart. Throughout the years there's been lots of changes, including living in separate states since 2015. Distance has never been a challenge for their friendship. Since Kristen doesn't have any biological siblings, Genny has always been like a sister to Kristen, and is a perfect fit for the Maid of Honor role.
Jerg Riethmüller
Best Man
Michael and Jerg met their Junior year of High School, when Jerg came to America as a Foreign Exchange Student. Michael and Jerg shared the court in recreational league basketball and on the Track representing Bridgeport High School. The two formed a friendship that stretches across an Ocean. Over the years they have visited each others countries multiple times and participated in each others customs.
Sheyenne Ervin

Kristen and Sheyenne met their freshman year of college and quickly discovered that they had a lot of things in common and quickly became best friends. After freshmen year they became roommates and the rest is history. They did almost everything together throughout the next 3 years of college. From orientation leaders, APO, trips to Canada and California, spending holidays together, and many more memories. Through the highest highs and the lowest lows, they've always had each others backs.

Growing up Mark was Michael's most fierce competitor. Everything was a race or a challenge leading to many wrestling matches in the Duez living room or someone being chased around the house. As the two grew older, they grew closer. Mark has been Michael's teammate on the baseball diamond, on the track, on the cross country courses and in life.
Elizabeth Frederick

Elizabeth came into Kristen’s life while she was still very young. She is the younger sister of the MOH, Genny. When she was younger, Kristen & Genny weren’t always the nicest to Elizabeth. As they all got older, the two realized that she wasn’t so bad after all. Kristen is happy to have the support of both sisters on her wedding day.
Mitchell Duez

Mitchell came into Michael's life while Michael was in second grade. He was able to get out of school early to go meet his baby brother. Michael and Mitchell share a love of sports and competition. Michael prides himself on being undefeated vs Mitchell in everything, even if that meant he had to quit early or unplug the controller.
Isabella Krider

Kristen and Bella met in their sophomore year of college when they were paired together to be partners in organic chemistry lab. They realized they had a similar interest in chemistry and became really good friends. For the next two years Bella and Kristen took every other chemistry class together and remained lab partners until they graduated. Although their friendship started in the lab they share plenty of fun memories outside the lab, with the wedding being added to that list of memories.
Troy Pallay

Troy and Michael have been friends since Mrs Lantz homeroom in Middle School. Ironically, before the two became close they were competitors on the U12 soccer league fields. The two competed in numerous meets together throughout high school and middle school. During High School the two could be found in Michael's basement playing billiards and blasting "Piano Man" by Billy Joel.
Arianna Champi

Arianna and Kristen are family, cousins to be exact, but they have become closer throughout the years. Many summers were spent together at a relatives house or little league baseball games. They've had lots of fun memories together like playing cards, birthdays, celebrations, holidays, family vacations, and wedding festivities!
Griffin Moon

Griff and Michael met at Bridgeport High School and became better friends when they were teammates on the track team. After they both graduated college, Griff and Michael were roommates for a couple of years in Morgantown while they both worked on their graduate degrees. The two share a love of music and movies. Griff has been a close friend to Michael and Kristen throughout the years.
Carly Gordon

Carly and Kristen met at graduate visitation weekend at WVU when they were paired with the same host. They both ended up at WVU for grad school and Carly was Kristen's first friend in West Virginia. They both share a love for plants and appreciate getting a good coffee/muffin on days when you really need it. Carly and Kristen like to have game nights, go thrift shopping, and get desserts in their spare time.
Tyler Stewart

Michael and Tyler became friends Michael's Sophomore year of college. They both were members of the Wheeling Jesuit Cross Country and Track Teams. The two were roommates for Michael's senior year of college. Through thick and thin and across the Ohio River the two have remained close.
