We're getting married!

12.13.2017 We met on a dating site in December of 2017. Our first date was on a Wednesday evening at a restaurant in Woodland Hills, Ca. We were both nervous but as soon as we sat down and started talking the nerves went away. After the first date, we found out we had lots in common and instantly enjoyed each other's company. Love came into the pictures a couple of months later. We were both committed to each other from the very start and instantly had a connection. We are best friends, soulmates, and partners. We are excited about this new chapter!

Gerardo and Paola both love music and it's something they bond over. Music festivals are one of the fun things they do together so, of course, Gerardo incorporated that into the proposal. He proposed during a music festival that they loved going to every year. He got down on one knee and proposed in front of a crowd of some friends and strangers. Paola had an idea that he might propose that weekend but Paola was still very shocked when it happened. Fun fact: 3 years prior during this same festival, Paola had told him that he would someday be her husband. She just knew Gerardo was someone special
