We're getting married!

We officially met out socially at Firestone Roasting House on the Riverfront in Wilmington, DE on 8/23/13 and went on our first date 2 days later. We met at Scratch Magoo's to watch a Phillies game, and 12 hours later ended the night! It was a great first date to say the least! Our mutual love of the Philadelphia Eagles, Sunday Funday, and sarcasm made for a 2nd date a few days later! Eagles games, dinner, drinks, movies, and workouts together brought us closer. Finally on December 13, 2013, Ian invited Jamie to the Poconos for a weekend with his friends, and on the first night, we officially became a couple.

We would be spending our summer vacation in Bethany Beach, Delaware. The first day of vacation we drove onto 3 R's beach with the McHugh family and starting the day surf fishing, drinking, and grilling on the beach. A few hours into the day, Ian's Mom asked, "Are you going to do this or what?" As Jamie was getting out of the ocean with Ian's brother Hunter, Ian walked down and met her at the shore line and dropped to one knee. "Jamie Lynn Ingman, will you marry me?" Jamie was so surprised, they still don't know if she actually ever said yes, but surrounded by family, they cheers'd with Fireball shots and spent the rest of the day celebrating! Jamie and Ian were able to enjoy a week of relaxation and fun, before returning home to begin the wedding planning!
