forever & always

It all began their freshman year of college in the fall of 2020 at the GCU Worship Arts Recording Studio, in Phoenix. Collin and a friend needed help on their music theory homework and Olivia offered help (but failed lol!) A few days later, they reconnected after class and Collin invited Olivia to a worship night he and his friends put on. Olivia attended and they chatted for a while afterwards. Then a few days later, in Old Testament class, Collin (noticing Olivia didn’t really have any friends at the time) invited Olivia on a day trip to the Grand Canyon on October 17 with his friends. Collin was blessed to have met a large group of people, who then became close friends of his, on his first day there. Unknown to Collin, Olivia was considering ending her journey at GCU and transferring schools because of her lack of community there. Olivia took him up on the offer, knowing it could be the start of some incredible friendships. They chatted the whole drive up and by the end of the night, as they were looking up at the stars above the canyon, knew this was the start of something really special. Little did they know, along with the beginning of lifelong friendships, it would mark the start of a lifetime together! It didn’t take long for their friends to start picking up on their unique connection and teasing them about it! A few weeks later, after some accidental prompting from a friend, Collin took a risk and told her that he liked her. But Olivia, being as stubborn as she is, said she wasn’t sure yet (and took the next whole month to decide if she wanted to start dating 🤦🏼‍♀️.) It wasn’t until after spending just a few days apart over Thanksgiving, that she fully realized how much she missed him and couldn’t imagine life without him. Collin officially asked Olivia to be his girlfriend on November 30 - the rest is history. All that to say, the next three and a half years have been filled with laughter, trials, fun adventures, big life moments, and lots of love – firmly grounded in the Lord together through it all. After graduating college in the Spring of 2023, Collin moved back home to Colorado and Olivia followed, beginning to work at Summit Church in Centennial together - a dream come true! Collin sealed the deal and proposed in Boulder, on June 15, 2024, and it was the best, most perfect day ever! The happy couple cannot wait to start their lives together this fall and are excited to celebrate the start of their forever with you!
