We're so excited to celebrate with you!

We met over chips and salsa at the Airport in Charlotte, North Carolina. Bryan was flying to NY for a business trip and I was flying back to Tampa from a training in Minnesota. We both love Mexican food so what do you do when your flight gets delayed? Find a Mexican restaurant at the airport and go for margaritas, chips and salsa :) Bryan was sitting at the bar with his books talking to the bar tender. Somehow we started talking about our delayed flights. Then the conversation goes: "So where are you from?". I say: "I'm from Tampa" and he says: "No way, I'm from Bradenton". We talked for hours. Almost missed our flight because we couldn't stop talking to each other. Funny story now we talk about this moment and we both felt the exact same way about each other...This is my person! It was unreal! What are the odds of meeting your person at another state but he/she lives 1 hr away from you? I'd say destiny worked his magic that day for sure! Como nos conocimos? Nos conocimos entre nachos y salsa en el aeropuerto de Charlotte, Carolina del Norte. Los dos estabámos en un viaje de negocios. A ambos nos encanta la comida mejicana así que, qué haces cuando tu vuelo se atrasa? Buscas el restaurante mejicano con las mejores margaritas y nachos con queso. Bryan estaba sentado en el bar con sus libros hablando con el bar tender. Entré lista para darme una margarita. Luego dice la conversación: "¿De dónde eres?". "Soy de Tampa" y él dice: "De ninguna manera, soy de Bradenton". Hablamos durante horas. Desde ese momento supimos que éramos almas gemelas. ¡Fue irreal! ¿Cuáles son las probabilidades de conocer a tu persona en otro estado que vive a 1 hora de distancia de ti? ¡Seguro que el destino hizo su magia ese día!

After Bryan and I met, we didn't talk for months. One day I noticed him looking at my Facebook stories so I said hi. We started talking again and I invited him to Taco Fest in Tampa with a group of friends. Bryan was hesitant to meet. My response to him was: "Dude, relax it's not a date...it's just taco fest". This was our first face to face after we met at the airport. Bryan came to Tampa that night. He got the chance to meet the real me and we had the best time of our lives. Since then we've been learning from each other, growing together and loving each other every day. After all it wasn't just taco fest :) La historia detras del hashtag: Después de que Bryan y yo nos conociéramos, tuvimos meses en los que no hablamos. Un día lo vi en Facebook y lo saludé. Empezamos a hablar de nuevo y lo invité a Taco Fest en Tampa. Bryan dudó en venir. Mi respuesta fue: "Oye, relájate, no es una cita... es solo un festival de tacos". Bryan vino esa noche y lo pasamos súper. Desde entonces hemos estado juntos. Al final no fue solo un festival de tacos :)
