Claire and John met on Hinge, the way couples do these days, and quickly realized that a few messages could turn into something real. Since Claire was living in Houston and only traveled to Austin for work, their connection began with a month of texting. Their first date was a success, and they continued seeing each other on weekends whenever they could. During November, both were too busy to see each other in person, but they stayed in constant communication. After a month apart, the first time they saw each other in person again, John asked Claire to be his girlfriend on November 29th, 2023. From there, their relationship grew stronger, even with the challenges of long distance. In April 2025, they bought their first home together, and life has been nothing short of amazing. In true Claire fashion, John proposed while riding a horse for the first time on a two-hour trail ride, surprising Claire in the middle of the ride with the perfect proposal. Every moment they share reminds them why they’re better together than apart. They can’t wait to celebrate their love with all of their friends and family!
