It’s finally happening!

It was a chilly Thursday evening in Speonk, NY, when Dominick and a friend walked into Brewology, making their way to the bar. Megan couldn’t help but roll her eyes in frustration as she stood at the back of the bar, polishing glassware, praying they’d be quick so she can get home. Finally, she reluctantly made her way to the front of the bar, where the two new bar guests sat, grabbing two menus on her way, and managed to put a smile on her face to welcome the late-comers...she wasn't expecting what would happen next. Megan placed the menus in front of them and as she looked up, sparks flew as her gaze met Dominick's eyes. She shrugged it off and went on about her business the rest of the night making friendly conversation and finishing out her shift. She left that night feeling hopeful, amazed, and confused - she was with someone and suddenly felt there was something better waiting for her to discover. Time passed and Dominick continued to show up week after week, conveniently, only during Megan's shifts. They became friends. Bartender and regular. He wooed her with delicious cheesecake and ketchup sandwiches (her favorite go-to junk food). The closer they seemed to get, the more Megan realized she deserved better than the relationship she was settling for, and eventually, FINALLY, decided to make the break. A few weeks later, the usual crew were hanging out at the bar during one of Megan's shifts, sharing the tales of their favorite brunch spots across Long Island. As Megan raved on about her newly found love for Toast Coffee House in Port Jefferson, Dominick drooled over the thought of going and without even thinking, Megan looked at Dominick and said, "We should go this Sunday!" He immediately replied, "Let's do it." Megan was in shock at how easily it rolled off her tongue and how quickly Dominick replied. It became real...they were going on a date. And so they did...
