How did we meet?
We met during the "let out".  Ianne was out with her friend celebrating a friend's engagement. Ianne's friend Morgan invited their mutual college friend, Jermaine, to meet them out. Jermaine brought his cousin Brandon. Inside the event we didn't talk to each other, but as the event "let out", Ianne voiced to a friend, "I didn't meet anyone". At that time Brandon put his arm around Ianne's neck and said, "you met me". Over the past 8 years we've been inseparable! The thing is, love is a funny thing! There were times that were quite difficult to navigate, but  we stuck with each other. We learned to pick and choose our battles. We learned we're not our mistakes, but we are our intentions. In this way, we pushed each other to learn, grow, and develop an understanding of God's purpose for marriage. The most fulfilling aspect of our journey is we've become a family. We're blessed to have two wonderful kids that keep us grounded. Simply put, we are a tight team #TheDrivers!
