On the lake is our favorite way to spend time at Reynolds! Information on the many local marinas can be found at https://visitlakeoconee.com/business/lake-oconee-marinas/
Defined by a scenic routing along the Lake Oconee shoreline, the Oconee course offers inspiring lake views while presenting options to play shots over inlets or carry corners of tree-lined doglegs. For those staying at The Ritz Carlton, this course is located next to the hotel.
If you're looking for a quick breakfast or lunch, Cafe 44 offers a variety of pastries, coffee, and sandwiches. Sweet Kneads Bakery also serves bagels, breakfast sandwiches, quiche, and lunch sandwiches and wraps. If you're looking for a sit down lunch, we recommend Gaby's by the Lake, which is located at The Ritz Carlton, for items like BBQ pork nachos, fried fish tacos, lobster grilled cheese, and lakeside cocktails. Another great lunch option is the National Tavern, located within Reynolds, which is great for wings, salads, sandwiches, and pizza. For dinner, check out Table at the Lake, Silver Moon, the National Tavern (located within Reynolds), Da Corrado, or Linger Longer Steakhouse (located at The Ritz Carlton).
Madison is a town approximately 30 minutes from Greensboro. It has lots of cute shops and restaurants, and is acclaimed for its historic downtown. Be sure to stop in and shop at Zeb Grant, In High Cotton, and Madison Markets (great for antiques), and grab a bite to eat at either Town 220 or Heart & Crown. Madison is often said to be so beautiful that General Sherman refused to burn it during his march to the sea amidst the Civil War.
The Spa at The Ritz-Carlton offers a great variety of treatments and a lodge-like space with windows overlooking the lake. After your treatment, be sure to enjoy the fireside whirlpool, sauna, steam room!
