A very interactive museum, so it's fun if you're bringing kiddos. We went here on our first date. Josh freaked out about the dinosaurs. He was 19.
We had dinner here on our first date. They have homemade tortilla chips that are second to none. Like the mural on the side of the building says, "don't mess with Tex-Mex."
This is a fun little area with shops, restaurants, and bars. We love to come here whether it be to Oddfellows for brunch, to one of the many unique shops to buy gifts, or to Oasis Plant Shop to contribute to Josh's plant habits.
Two restaurants with great food, great drinks, and great views from the patio if you're in your boujee era. They are also located in downtown and near the Dallas Museum of Art, the Dallas Aquarium, the Perot, and other restaurants within the same square.
This area has multiple restaurants, a beer garden, Kate Weiser chocolate, and a path to walk on the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge for a view of the skyline. Just overall a fun place to hang out with a group.
While it is a small park over a busy highway, we've had some fun park dates here. Sometimes they have food trucks lining the streets which are always great.
Similar to Atlanta's Beltline, the Katy Trail provides a walking trail to explore the city with restaurants, bars, and shops along the way.
While Dallas isn't known for its nature scene, this is a spot for those looking for something more wilderness inclined with some trails to walk/hike.
Another one for our wilderness explorers. The lake offers paddle-boarding, kayaking, sailing, and fishing.
