I might be Prince Coffee's #1 Fan. I go here about 4 times a week, and I have become actual friends with the baristas. My favorite drink here is a hot anijsmelk latte with oat milk. It feels like a warm hug. But during the summer, you can't go wrong with an iced Stroopwaffle latte with oat milk (it tastes like an oatmeal cookie).
This is America's largest used book store. 3 stories high and a city block long, you can spend a day just exploring the inside.
This hike is only a mile long, but beware, it's almost all uphill. That being said, we have decided that it is our favorite waterfall in Portland (even over Multnomah, which we still would recommend.)
Looking for a place to just swim in some fresh water? Oxbow is a beautiful place to sit and relax and swim in a natural river.
A large park with a man-made lake that has many a duck, Laurelhurst is one of Vienna's favorite places to sunbathe and read.
We went on one of our first dates here (when we dated the first time in 2019). The food is phenomenal and you really can't go wrong, but Vienna's go-to is "Evil Jungle Noodle".
A super fun place to just drink coffee and talk.
A large bridge and a small river, this is a quick hike that is filled with beauty.
Jones Creek is a popular part of the river to swim in. There will be a crowd (not as crowded as San Diego Beaches mind you), but there are some really deep spots to swim in, a lot of sun to warm up the water, and some great rocks to lounge on.
Some of the best Mexican food in the PNW. Not as good as SD's, but good for the area.
