FAQs

The Wedding Website of Torie Ortiz and Ian Frazier
Since almost everyone is coming in from out of town, we wanted a page to help everyone make the most of this time. Also any questions that you might have and guidance to our venue!!
Question

Wedding Attire?

Answer

Dress code: Please use "business casual" attire as a guide for the wedding. Our wedding will be partially outside and inside in Idaho summer. We have experienced high humidity in late afternoon. We recommend considering the rock, dirt, and grass in the park when picking shoes. The reception will be inside with air conditioning and wood floor. There is a small pool, you are more than welcome to bring a bathing suit and towel, towels not provided.

Question

What are you feeding me?!

Answer

We will be offering food and drinks for the reception. (add drink options and food truck once booked)

Question

We are staying longer than the wedding, what does Idaho have?

Answer

We have been living in Meridian since June 2024 and have been enjoying exploring the area. If you are able to stay and visit Idaho, there are a couple of recommendations we can make for you! Scheels - Sporting goods store - If you've never been, its more than just a store, its an experience. The Botanical Gardens is also attached to the the Old Idaho State Penitentiary. Both are a must see at the same time. Lots of walking! Pretty views! Map of Boise Parks Boise Zoo is nestled within Rose Garden, we recommend checking both out together! The Village - Shopping Mall - Tons of food options and a movie theater! Roaring Springs - Water Park for the family and Wahooz is a large arcade next door with bowling alley and go karts. K1 - Indoor Go Karts that have a fun course! Meridian Speedway - Check their schedule! Asphalt Oval Track. Firebird Raceway - Drag strip - Check their schedule! Antique World Mall in Boise - Huge antique store with a lot for everyone!

Question

How do I get to this wedding your having so far away from me?

Answer

We were given directions from the venue owner, Karen, when first visiting. They helped us out a lot and we found the app "Waze" guided us correctly. Please understand there will be dirt and rock roads once leaving the freeway. Drive with caution. Yes, we found the venue in the middle of nowhere. Getting there is an adventure in itself with scenic views. Directions from Karen: The easiest (nicest road) is from Hwy 16, turn on Chaparral (going toward 3 horse winery), go past the winery, turn left at the next intersection (toward Emmett), continue on Pearl Road (stay to the right). The Park will have a sign to enter and you will see it before you drive up a hill to the B&B. After the ceremony, please drive back on the road up to the right of the hill to the driveway where there is a sign saying "Welcome to Hidden Pearl" You can park in front of the house. (You might have to watch for chickens!)
