Question

What safety measures should we expect in light of the COVID-19 pandemic?

Answer

As we transition into fall of 2021 we are optimistic it will be safe to gather. We are grateful for the available safe and effective vaccines. We will continue to stay up to date on the CDC’s guidelines. We anticipate utilizing outdoor spaces, opening our venue’s window panels/garage doors during the reception dinner, requiring masks if needed, and other safety features throughout the weekend.

Question

Vaccines

Answer

We ask that by the time of the wedding on September 24th, all guests over 12 be fully vaccinated. For example, this would be 2 weeks after the second Pfizer or Moderna vaccine shot, or 2 weeks after the single J&J vaccine shot. We have a family member at high risk for COVID-19, and as such we respectfully ask that anyone who is unable or unwilling to be vaccinated not attend. The safety of everyone in attendance is a top priority. We thank you for understanding and for respecting our wishes. We cannot wait to celebrate with you all!

Question

Masking

Answer

St. Louis currently has a city wide mask mandate. Please plan to wear a mask when indoors in public places. While all wedding attendees are vaccinated, feel free to wear a mask at any point throughout the weekend festivities. We encourage and support whatever is most comfortable for you. We would appreciate reception attendees to come with your favorite party mask for the dance floor!

Question

Testing

Answer

At this point we are not requiring submission of a negative Covid-19 test but strongly encourage testing prior to coming if possible. We both have testing appointments prior to the wedding. In St. Louis Walgreens offers free drive through testing sites with rapid results or you may purchase a take home test from CVS or Walgreens. Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive a half hour to fifteen minutes before the start of the ceremony, which is at 5:00 PM.

Question

How does parking work at Wild Carrot?

Answer

Free street parking along 39th street. Please refrain from parking on Shaw Ave. We recommend utilizing Uber, Lyft, or carpooling.

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

We hope to have the ceremony and cocktail hour outdoors, weather permitting. The reception will be held indoors. We are planning to have the venues garage doors/window panels open.

Question

If I cannot attend is there a way to see the ceremony?

Answer

If you cannot join us in person we hope to live stream our ceremony and will post a link on our website if it can be arranged.

For all the days along the way
