Our dogs are cute in photos, but boyohboy can they be chaos. We want to enjoy the weekend with our people and no leashes. Our dogsitter is the real hero for wedding weekend.
We are praying for sunshine and a beautiful breeze, but we understand Montana is moody. We hope you understand, too. July can be hot (or maybe not) so we think you will be most comfortable in breezy summer clothes (most likely!)
Unfortunately, if you have not been invited to utilize camp lodging, we are reserving it for our close family and wedding party. Please let us know if you would like to be on a list to be considered for bunkhouse lodging if we end up having extra room! Mind you, its not luxurious and you are in charge of your own linen.
If you plan on doing anything outside in Red Lodge, bring bear spray and keep food packed away. There are places in town that rent bear spray which helps you avoid the fight with TSA as well as having your check bagged ripped apart.
Kids are invited and we think they might just have the time of their lives at the wedding camp! We are in the wilderness, so if you choose to bring your kids, please be responsible and have eyes on them at all times, no exceptions. Nothing ruins a celebration quicker than a bear catching a kid. We also ask that kids are either inside the lodge or in respected sleeping spaces by 10pm. Thank you for understanding.
We've got you covered. The Girl Scout camp has a rule of beer & wine only. We might not have a bartender, but we will have troughs of beer and plenty of bags to slap.
Shay dropped out of Girl Scouts in the 2nd grade because they were planning a sleepover and she was too scared to leave her mom... so long story short, no. We just love the camp setup and we think you will, too.
We could not ask for more than to spend the day celebrating with our beautiful family and friends. If you feel inclined to support our marriage in other ways, we are putting any monetary donations towards our future together.
