Unfortunately, no. The large amount of our guests' young children (65 by our count!) would put us well over the wedding venue's guest cap. Our two kids, their two best friends, and our niece and nephew will represent all the amazing children in our lives.
For the wedding ceremony and reception on Sunday, 10/11, a free shuttle will be provided to and from the Desmond and Marriott hotels. If you drive yourself, please note that parking is valet-only at the venue. Ubers and Lyfts are also plentiful throughout the Malvern, King of Prussia, and Valley Forge areas, which might be especially good to use on Saturday 10/10 for the welcome night drinks and apps in Phoenixville. Bottom line - we want you to enjoy yourself safely throughout the weekend so use the shuttles and Uber/Lyft!

Yes. On the travel page of this website, you'll find the links to our reserved room blocks for Sat. 10/10 and Sun. 10/11 at The Desmond Hotel, a Hilton property, and the Courtyard Marriott. Presently, the Desmond is sold out on the Saturday (the welcome night), but has plenty of capacity the Sunday night (the wedding night). Additional rooms may become available there that evening and we'll update accordingly. Finally, we've listed a third property (Homewood Suites) on the travel page. There is no discounted rate for the Homewood Suites, but it is a backup option if needed and just a 5 minutes walk from The Desmond Hotel.
This will be a fall wedding with a mix of outdoor, indoor, and tented venues. On average, the weather in the Valley Forge area the last few years around this time has been in the high 60s / low 70s, and at night has dipped to the low 50s. In inclement weather, the outdoor/uncovered wedding ceremony will be moved underneath the tented area reserved for the reception. Dinner and dancing are under a tent but with open access to the fresh air in some spots; if it is unseasonably cold there will be heaters brought out. Generally, bring a jacket or shawl if you'd like an extra layer!
A shuttle will be available at 9:45pm for guests who want to depart early; Uber and Lyfts are also plentiful in the area if you need to leave at any time. All guests will depart the wedding venue by 10:30pm.
