We recommend buddying up with some friends to rent a car as there is limited parking at the venue (20 cars). You could also take an Uber from SFO to the venue, but getting an Uber back to the airport from Stinson Beach can't be guaranteed as it is a small town. Please reach out to us if you have questions!
SFO is the biggest airport located in the Bay Area. However, Oakland airport is about the same distance away from Stinson Beach so you can look there too.
Everyone has accommodations on-site! When you arrive to Willow Camp a welcome basket will be waiting for you at the Lodge which will have all the information you need for the weekend, including your lodging information and a map on how to get there.
The weekend is all about being comfortable and ready for any weather changes that might occur. The attire for the wedding itself will be "comfy cocktail," think of what you'd wear to a nice date at a cocktail bar. We'll be moving around between beaches, lawns, and wood chips, so choose your shoes accordingly. For the rest of the weekend, our suggestion is to bring layers incase you need to remove or add clothing. Weather varies greatly during this time of year, it could be 85 and sunny or 50 and foggy. Closed-toed flat-soled shoes are also highly recommended. The bride will be wearing sneakers/boots all weekend. Bring a swimsuit in case you want to use the heated pool!
If you would like to come out earlier than Friday you can stay a night in the beautiful city of San Francisco given it is an hour away from the venue. You can also try to stay a night in Stinson Beach at The Sand Piper Lodge or Redwood Haus Inn. Please make these accommodations directly. It's a small town, so please book early if you decide to go this route.
Transportation will not be provided back to the city or airports. Planning your flights near the same time as the friends you have buddied up with to share a rental car is a good idea. Some people may have extra space in their cars, so don't be afraid to ask around. Let us know if you need help!
Feel free to bring your own alcohol to the venue. Alcohol will be provided Friday evening and Saturday.
We will do our best to map out sleeping arrangements based on the beds we have to work with. If you're single, you may be staying in a bunk room with others. Most people will have shared restrooms / showers. Think of it like adult summer camp!
Meals and lodging will be provided Friday evening through Sunday morning. You'll be responsible for your cover ($10) and bar tab for the afterparty at Smiley's Saloon. There is plenty to do and see in Stinson Beach, you'll just be responsible for any costs outside of Willow Camp.
People sleeping on the estate grounds will need to be out of their rooms by 11am but can come up to the Lodge and join us for the day.
Our wedding is an intimate size of 50 people.
