Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes, street parking around the venue is free, but limited. Guests can find parking along La Jolla Shores Drive and throughout the La Jolla Shores neighborhood. However, some streets are 2 hour parking Monday–Saturday 8 AM – 6 PM. A larger parking lot can be found at La Jolla Shores Park – a 10 minute walk from the venue.

Is there transportation to the venue?

Answer

A shuttle will be available to guests from the Embassy Suites La Jolla to the Scripps Seaside Forum and back.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire is suggested. Remember to bring an extra layer - San Diego nights can get chilly!

What can I expect at a Jewish Wedding?

Answer

We are very excited to share our multi-cultural traditions at our wedding! The ceremony will take place under a Chuppah, a canopy that symbolizes the home of the soon-to-be-married couple. It is open on all sides to represent openness to others and a home that is welcoming to many guests. Other customs will be explained during the ceremony, but be prepared to congratulate the couple by shouting "Mazel Tov" when the groom breaks the glass, followed by dancing and celebration!
