December 13-15 is "Christmas in St. Michaels," which means that there will be special events throughout the weekend. While the town looks extra charming around this time of year, it also means that you'll need to make special considerations for travel times. Most importantly, the "Talbot Street Parade" will close down the only road through town from 10:15 am until noon on Saturday, 12/14. What should I wear?

Answer

Attire: semi-formal Ceremony: We will be outside on the back lawn by the water for about 30 minutes. Plan on wearing layers and shoes that won't sink into the ground! Feel free to bring a blanket :) Cocktail Hour: We will be on the back porch. There will be a heater! If the weather isn't cooperative, we'll check down to the living room. Reception: We'll move to the heated tent!

Where should I park?

Answer

When you see the balloons off of Old House Cove Rd, turn down the private road. Then, take a right when you see more balloons and the tent. Pull into the driveway and park on the grass to the right.

Can we use Uber/Lyft in St. Michaels?

Answer

Nope! Plan on carpooling and finding a DD.

Can I take photos/videos during the ceremony?

Answer

We have an amazing photographer who will be capturing our special moments, and we'll share those with you as soon as we get our hands on them. We'd rather you live in the moment :)
