It's never too late to celebrate!

For their first date, Mai convinced Ian that "going out for dinner" was much too serious, but getting cake was totally reasonable. And so they had cake for dinner.

Mai proposed to Ian with a rigged card game. She had measured his ring size while he was asleep, so the ring she got him ended up being way too big.

Ian proposed to Mai over a bag of Hot Cheetos. Mai initially refused to let Ian put a ring on her Cheeto-encrusted fingers. Unlike the ring Mai had gotten for Ian, this ring was perfect.

Ian and Mai had a virtual civil ceremony, followed by pizza and cake. While they had to scrap their wedding plans for 2020, they secretly shared a sigh of relief because neither really wanted to plan a wedding anyway.
